According to the file name it is a P-51D of 41st fighter squadron. They converted to P-51s at some point in 1945 and remained in the Pacific to fight in the Korean war. Given the file was named correctly.

Stupid pilot... this is the result of adding a girl's name to a plane. He should have used his dog's name. Dog had waited for him.
