That is really beautiful. I'm rarely impressed by models, at least not by their artistic value, but this is wonderful, how it tells a story.

Could you tell us what you used to make the diorama and share some techniques?

Yes ,I imagine the pilot dies after he lands that crappy plane :/

Yes i can help you, first of all you have to imagine the scene how is going to be at the final stage, after that take the finish plane (after you paint and) for the destroy and melt parts use a simple lighter,
and with few seconds of flame on the plastic you can made look it like that.Thats for the start after that take a piece of wood for the main ground and use Plaster with water and place it on the wood
take the model before that dry and scratch the surface with the model like a real crash landing and leave it there to dry (do the same with all the parts like drop tanks and all the parts that might be on the
crash side). For realistic paint i use oil colours and pastels (Pastel is an art medium in the form of a stick) you scratch it and you can take that effect of black mat colour that the wreckages have after a
fire, for the bullet holes just put some heat on a pin let your imagination do the rest and last i use classic weather techniques ( http://www.starwarsmodels.com/techweath.html )For oil i used black gloss colour same for the blood Smile ,Hope that i help you.

ps : This diorama made because i lost the main wheels ( i have this model since i was 12 yeard old Tongue) but it looks good.
