I cannot switch engine to power=40%
I must press = - to change power=40

Well you can put it to 40% by pressing =. Change the control setting in controls.

IIRC the 40% power key is used for the Open Side Door for the later (modded?) Spitfires, I would recommend getting a joystick that has throttle on an axis if you can afford this as it greatly increases efficiency. I don't know if it is the Side Door key as I am at school and cannot check atm. Hope this helps.

Just checking in, i have confirmed that power 40 is used for the spitfire open door. Hope this has helped.
