I have been waiting to post this on here, too long since AAA has been down. hah well i have to say this was the best model i have ever built

Yes, the soviet union blocked all roads to western berlin in 1948 and opened them again in 1949 when they realized that they couldn't make the people move away from there.

At least in 1947 the plane ( KN518 ) was used by RAF 46Sqn. I'm not sure if it should have RAF markings instead of the USAAF ones.

All 3 Western Powers needed to get supplies to West-Berlin, so it is probably accurate to some degree Wink

the US also flew 3 times more than the RAF did too.
