I just created a practice Mission for USMC/USN/USAAF aircraft. It is a moving dogfight server using HSFX 4.11 and Zuti MDS V1.13. I made every airfield except Kaneohe Field a home base for red and the appropriate service/country. I have two carriers, Saratoga & Essex (catapult enabled). When I tested the mission I selected Ford Island as my home base and when I spawned I had a problem. I selected a SBD-3 and When I spawned I exploded. To be sure I tried this several times and had the same result. It appears that a spawn point is on the corner of one of the hangars. When I joined the mission from a second computer my spawn point was a different location, just to the side of the first spawn point on the tarmac. So this appears to happen only to the first player who joins the mission or selects this airfield.

Does anyone know what is causing this problem and what can be done to fix this?

How would that be done? Aren't the spawn points & objects predetermined/fixed for the home base/airfield in dogfight missions? This was not a hangar that I placed on the map nor did I place/choose the spawn point in the Full Mission Builder nor do I get to choose the spawn point of the airfield while in game.

Wouldn't that mean that anyone who joins would have to have that map edited as well?

Sorry, but I have never ever made a online mission / Co-op game / Moving Dogfight. And to be fair you did say...

no idea what causes it, whether its a bug with zuti 1.2 or what, but i too fell victim to it. after a week of testing on my rig with no problems, sent the big file to our host and only a single PBY-5 took off.
I am guessing it is a placement of the first spawn point on the tarmac of the Ford Island Field. The spawn point appears right at the corner of the hangar. I don't know if someone added objects to this field or modified the object placement on this field during the mod version releases or if the MDS mod (I can't remember if this airfield was a spawn point for dogfight servers in the stock game or not) just puts the spawn point in the wrong location.

I am hosting the game on a computer in my basement. When I spawn at Ford Island I explode on the building. When I joined the server from this laptop I spawned in just fine, one position away from the wreckage of my burning plane.

I probaly got samelike problem.
I have the spawnpoint problem in singleplayer in every campaign i choose execpt carrier campaigns.
All the planes appear to that formation as they fly in air, not to a line on a runway
I managed to get around the problem by creating two small home bases, one at each end of the runway. The spawn area changed to a different tarmac.

This doesn't fix the exploding spawn point problem if you put a single home base for the entire field.
