i have been away recently and it is fantastic to hear that AAA have got a new site, AAS. I have a few problems with finding UI 1.2 from AAA as the site has shut down. i was wondering if anyone could give me that link so i may download it again without any corrupt files like last time. Also, what do i need for the Ultrapack 2.0 + 2.1. i have looked around the forums and have seen no mention of any UI 1.2 mod which would the nbe covered up by the UP 2.0. Please can someone help.

i dont think 1.2 will do u any good as i am not sure its used much anymore., go to the up site for the dwnld. just apply it to a clean 4.09.

on that note 4.1 should be oput soon so we'll have yet another version of an old game.

HSFX has UI and UltraPack has HFSX.

This is because i have not got the UI 1.2 patch from AAA and would like to download the UP 2.0 before the 4.10 patch comes out.

You won't need the UI to install either HSFX or UP. In fact, you will first need a plain install of Il2 1946, patched to version 4.09m, which is the most recent official patch.
Once you have this, you should make at least one copy of it and save it for backup.
Current versions of HSFX and UP can be installed over this, but when the new official patch 4.10 is released, it will NOT be compatible with HSFX or UP. You will need to install 4.10 to your saved copy of Il2 1946 version 4.09m and wait until new versions of HSFX and/or UP are created and released.
And yes, it really is worth all the trouble.
