Murph Wrote:Yes it will. But you will first need to request the map all.ini file for HSFX 5.1.01 from the folks at 262 Squadron and add the needed lines to it (mentioned in the map's readme). Then set up the folder structure for JSGME and enable it using that.
You already have the all.ini. It's in Il-2 etc/Files/maps, where 'Il-2 etc' is the root directory of your installation.

PS
242 Squadron - we're not Luftwaffe jet jockeys!
Thanks for clearing that up, Dunkelgrun. It was late and I was typing from memory. In any case, I have the map(s) working just fine using JSGME with my HSFX 5 install.
Is there an approved method for adding maps to HSFX 5 other than with JSGME or the use of a mods/mapmods folder?
I have been able to create and save a mission using the Winter map, but when I create something using the Summer map, it seems to save the mission, and when I exit FMB and look for it in game, it's not there! I'm using HSFX 5 with the map enabled using JSGME, and the air.ini file from HSFX 5 with the map entry added. Does anyone know a fix for this problem?
I am able to play missions on the Summer map created by others with no apparent issues.

The base is Uranium pack by H&P, but I changed more or less 250kg bomb, rockets, tanks and vehicle, explosions, plane crashes, and some ground smokes... and mixed with things I like in some other packs (like the deletion of smoke trails for AA FIRE) ... not finished yet
