Spitfire PR.XIX Contra-rotating propellers v1.4.







It is the reconnaissance aircraft Spitfire PR.XIX, and it is fully disarmed.
This aircraft has Contra-rotating propellers with real motion.

Credits:
- This aircraft is based on 3D by Zorin, Hawk.
- New Cockpit Textures by Avala.
- Default skin by Nightshifter.
- One alpha channel for propeller texture by Stuka_40.
- 170 gallon droptank by the Aviator Mod Team (Anto, VH-Rock, Howlin, F22-Raptor-2006 and Birdman).
- Improvements to the code of the props and straight takeoffs by F22-Raptor-2006 (Aviator Mod Team).

cool, no torque to bother me anymore, especially on take-off. think there could be a P-51 version soon?

Yes this could be done, but unfortunately today the torque effect can not be removed from the FM .

what propeller mod do you use? it looks nice :o

No, what I tell you, is that the propeller mod is independent , is just esthetic.
But the Spitfire PR19 CRP has real movement contra-rotating propellers.

so there is torque in this model? no way to balance it like the Do-335?

Do you have a five blades project in your folders(like Aymi)? This aircraft with two 3blades was very rare in ops, all the PR19 flew with 5blades and Griffon 65 and 66 (most of them).
The double prop is well known because the French owner of one PR19 (Chistophe Jacquard) changed his engine for a Shakleton one of 2200Cv+ with this prop, and fly with it during some times.
Nevertheless, I congratulate you for this job (I am totally unable to produce anything in 3D!!), and I am flying with for some game aerobatics.

The Do-335 has two independent motors that rotate in opposite directions.
This Spitfire has a single engine Griffon of 2000 hp turning left.
I wanted to make it as real as possible.

No, I'm not going to work on PR19 five blades, that project belongs only to Aymi.

And work in 3D is wonderful.
