I had the same problem when I installed my patches in the wrong order. I forgot to install v8.0m before installing v9.0m. So I went back and installed v8.0 then reinstalled v9.0 and finally continued on with the upgrading of my patches. I have not had the problem since.

Crashes at 5% -- You have a missing SFS files.
