Developed by Ca 308 "Borea"(North Wind) was a family of observation aircraft, light bomber,colonial plane and to attack the caravans and the rebels, the 309, as requested by the Government of Libya, its patron, played his duties in Africa countering, in WWII, the penetration of the famous LRDG ,his successor, Ca 310, had a good commercial success in many countries though quickly downgraded considering the performance now lower, for the RA instead fights alongside his predecessor in Africa and in Italy as a liaison and trainer aircraft.
