My request is simple , is there a link where I can download and get the mirrors back for these 2 fighters ?
If so , do I drop them into the JSGME folder ? or make a MOD folder and drop in my HSFX folder ?

For this sort of thing, try the MODS folder way first.

I put them in the MODS folder.
The F6F mirrors work and are located exactly as they were in older versions of HSFX
The P-51 mirrors on the other hand are hosed with the newer versions of HSFX. Instead of being attached to the windscreen framing the bottom of the mirror bracket floats above the windscreen framing so you see a gap from inside the cockpit. This did not occur in earlier versions of HSFX.

For the P51's you'll need to D/L new cockpits.
There are some very nice ones over on SAS. Not sure is HSFX has any on the 242 site.

How would the new cockpits help?
Seeing as this is an older mod based on the cockpits of the time would there not be gaps with the newer cockpits that you mention?
