Gentlemen.. Having followed as much advice that I could glean from the forums here, I'm still encountering the Cyrillic text problem with my Dgen missions. I'm also getting some new missions that won't generate.. I'm pretty sure I've checked and changed every single one of the ru.dat files I could find, and they have all been re-named accordingly, so I'm a little stumped!
I have found my Ngen folder with some ru.dat files in it.. Do I have to carry out the same proceedure there?
Thanks for any advice..
Hi is it possible to add new cockpit texttures for the 109's and 190's?
/Especially when flying is winter map./
Question 1-Can someone here add a little more dirt and snow in the cokcpit and around the windows, and the paint in the pit to be more scratched/this is for the 109 and 190/?
Question 2-And the other question is : Can someone made it so when flying in summer map to change pit to the summer variant, and when flying on winter map to change it with the winter variant. My idea is to be something like the skins in the game.
I dream for all this cos as a I/JG54 member/actually i'm the commander / i dream for my Question no.1 when flying in winter map.
And most of you probably know that JG54 was at eastern front from the beginning, till the end.
And they flew in all winter time conditions in the eastern front.
SO it's not a crime if we have a little bit "snowy" and dirt in the pit in our 190's and 109's
Was just wondering if there are any dedicated servers running the sound mod with the new planes? I cant seem to find any on hyperlobby/
Is just a question. Is anyone thinking about the possiblity of modeling realistic cockpits from scratch? is it possible to do so? Everytime i see the fabulous pictures of that B29 cockpit lost probably forever I wish i had the knowledge to create one myself.
Usefull utility to adjust:
- graphics
- dgen settings
- conf.ini tweaks
- game difficulty
- multiplayer settings
- joystick
- hardware
- contains a skin manager too

:!: BACKUP YOUR CONF.INI FILE :!:
Have any of the mapmakers in the community changed the planesets to incoroporate the new flyable planes? I am itching to get my teeth into a good campaign.
I have been reading about changing the ru_dat files so they read english, this is my job for tonight.
Many thanks.
I Know ,and i understand ,you have a lot of Work ..
but .. do not .. Forget the B24 ...

one old RAF Belgian PIlot ...
I'd like to suggest that a mirror be added to the Hellcat cockpit as they had them fitted historically.
CAG Donald McCampbell in his F6F-5
A selection of F6F-3 & F6F-5 Hellcats showing the mirror.
And last, an F6F-5 of the British Pacific Fleet showing the unusual addition of a Spitfire (no doubt Seafire in this case) mirror. This was by no means standard but photos of such installations are not uncommon. I'm not amazed by it as many FAA Hellcat pilots were ex-Spit or Hurricane jockeys and having access to Seafire parts from the store fitted them to suit themselves.
I think the Wildcat mirror would be an obvious choice as it was probably the same component used in the Hellcat.
to change the ship sinking times to make them at least five times longer
and to have a delay start on the fire/smoke/light objects?
Load the Avenger with rockets in the QMB,
veiw her in the preview screen and then change the nationality from RAF or RN to USMC or USAAF or USSR and watch the mounting angle of the rockets change.
Fly her with the rockets under the USMC or USSR etc. and the rockets will shoot way low.
Fly her as RAF or RN and the rockets will shoot to point of aim.
Most interesting capitain
