...file-format module cannot parse the file mean in respect to .tga files and CS2? I thought tga's should open fine in photoshop!...anybody can assist in this please or pm me an answer!..what am i missing and how?

My squad is a U.S. Navy squad and our bomber guys want to fly that avenger something bad. We have a mod skin for the TBM and it works fine on the MKIII with one problem. We have to fly with markings off to keep that blue star off of the airplanes, but we lose the plane number in the process and when we fly coops with our rival squad we have to have markings on. Now when the skin is on the TBM I can turn the markings on and the painted U.S. markings apear no problem, but I just cannot get away from that damn blue star on the MKIII.

Is this doable?
I mean to reskin the old (dated from Original IL2) Bf109 cockpits.
Bf109 is a very popular plane and needs some attention don't you think?
Also some old loadouts like bombs gunpods and droptanks could receive some face lift...

Hi all.
I'm Spyros Tsimas, from Patras, Greece, AKA elephant, well known pilot skinner in il2 community.
I have to congradulate all of you for the fabulous work you did on the Sound mod!
I enjoy the most the reenablement of the High Gore feature, it's Great as well.
It is well known that the helmet modeled on the pilot 3d model in game is wrong even if Oleg never accepted it, when I first mentioned it to him. :evil:
Ilya, (Luthier), was less stubborn to admitt it and concented to remove the unhistoric bulge from the pilots helmet top for the Pacific Fighters release, but the corrected pilot 3d model was finally placed only in the F4U and A-20 series of a/c ! Sad
Is it possible to edit this corrected pilot 3d model, (the one that is currently used in the F4Us and A-20s), to every other a/c in game, as well?
Can anyone adresses me the files I have to edit to do so, if possible?

can you explain step by step what you do to design a cockpit for a NEW flyiable Plane:

for instance How to put Ki 43 cockpit in a B5N Kate ?

pls share you Knowledge so we will have faster a new plane ....or we will able to change reticles...and so on.

i'm a pilot of the french aerobatic team VFA and i'm new here Tongue .

I have a question: is it technically possible to create a more realitic smoke system? It would be amazing if such a mod would be avaiable because the little and ugly actual smoke systeme is very
frustrating Sad and we look jealously at the one of lock on for example.

Hello gents.

Did anyone try to place a gun turet or something like that inside a flak panzer so we can give a propper welcome to that low life score padding vulcher next time he shows up? :twisted: :lol:

I would like to see his face when he drops in on the flight line only to have a Wilberwind spawn on the tarmac and shred him to ribits. :mrgreen: :twisted: ....You know, that WTF look. Smile

Any type of flak will do. Bofors, Vierlig, Japanese 3x25, German 37mm, Wirlberwind. :wink:

A flak panzer would be better then a fix gun position because you could spawn it on the tarmac and then drive it to the best deffending position. But honestly, anything is better then nothing.

Anyone tried this? would it even work?

Hello,

The two gun Mig-3s (2xUB and 2xShvak) were made using the Mig-3U cockpit (which has gauges for two guns). Unfortunately the exterior and interior views don't match.

Could someone release a patch which replaces the cockpit for these two aircraft with the one from the Mig-3 1940/Mig-3UD?

Also, do you know if it is possible to give other rockets dispersion? The 60lb rockets should have around eight mils. of dispersion and the Russian rockets should have sixteen mils. It would also be neat to have the R4M fire off in six or twelve rocket salvos (historical).

If you guys ever figure out how to edit loadouts I have a few corrections to suggest...
