Hello, My first post here...
You are all doing a fantastic job! This site has rekindled my interest in IL-2.

My question is... Is it possible to make a 2 stage bail-out mod?
What I mean by this is, one command to bail out and a second command to open the parachute.
This would stop me from been shot dead while I'm descending after a high altitude incursion.
I also believe that it would make IL-2 more historically correct as I seem to remember reading somewhere that not pulling the cord at high alt was in the pilots basic training.

This can be done in the non modded game for dogfight servers. Could this be done to add squadrons to the other modes of play?

I need the m406 and Morko cockpit from .91 . I find it alot better than the P-40 pit. Talking to a French friend of mine, he says it is the one than is more like the real one.

I tried the .91 mod.....but too many sounds did not play right.

err, um, ahh, it's me again. I dont mean to be contrary but.... :oops:

I downloaded the corrected P8 but I can only swing the bombsight up to 20 degrees forward and then I see an obstruction. I dont know what it is but it block full forward view or even 45 degrees forward which makes any high altitude bombing difficult. Now is there something I have not done and need to correct? :oops: :?

Mosquito with bombsight comming soon - we are putting a bombsight onto the Mk IV as this is historicaly correct & will be releasing it tonight or tomorrow

hi all it's zap i installed sound mod 9.0 now splash screen is in ru so is briefs for single and pilot career, i wait here for advise to return to english.......i am waiting

I've downloaded both V9 and V9.1 of the Sound Mod. I'm using WINRAR; I've followed the instructions in the readme file and copied them where I'm told to, but when I try to run the game, it crashes at the splash screen. The splash screen is in Russian, but I know from other posts that's ok.

I can restore the game by going to my backup copies of il2.exe and files.sfs, so I can still play the old version of the game.

What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be appreciated. I've been waiting for mods like this for a long time, and I really appreciate what's been done. I hope the publishers know this just improves the game's longevity.
