Sharing Tools With The Wider Community? - blacktwelve - 15.01.2008
What is the policy here re. sharing tools with the wider community? For example I make online maps, that is I place objects on existing maps, for the squad I'm in. It would be gratious of the modders, or a modder, to share the FMB editing tool so I can copy and paste bases to get better gameplay online. I have no intention of making huge involved maps as I simply don't have the time and besides the map modders here are doing an amazing job.
So what is the attitude, the policy here please?

Unhelpful and unfriendly. Something of a club here.

I was answering your question. There is an entire section DEVOTED to the distribution of said tool's. What more did you want..?

Map mod tools. - Passive - 15.01.2008
I have been following your posts blacktwelve and i understand your point you want to make.
The link provided to other forum by Mr NZ is another rock thrown in the wrong direction, you require certain dev tools that are not open to the general modders that visit these forums, there are U.S. groups that have such tools and are will to help any novice or expert with problems in regards to modding maps for personnal gain or improvment for online capability.
The AAA mods avalible on this web site have been developed for AAA and it is more benifical to them if you have something to give them not just take.

?? Damn dude calm down! I was answering your question about the policy of sharing tools. Obviously there is a section dedicated to the sharing of tools, so use your head and think about it!
You should knock off your attitude!
I was trying to help you... and thats how you respond? Bloody hell!

Well that works both ways. You give me something and I'll give you something. My request is not asking for too much. But I can see that it's a club here.

Blacktwelve, perhaps you should perhaps ask a tad clearer about what you were after... I was answering your question about how AAA looks apon sharing tools! No need to get all pissy over it!
