MOD for Europeans - BF-109 F4 - 23.04.2008

I wonder if we could make a MOD that changes Mph and feet to Km/h and meters on American bombsights . Because (at least for me ) im always using the calculator to adjust the bombsight altitude and speed .

Hey man i have got a programm.........Bombsight Table 2 u only put information of u and this programm make the job Big Grin

Yep, totally agree with this request. I would love to see the ability to choose youre own units on the bombsights. I use knots and feet personally, and get sick of having to switch the speedbar around all the time. Its even worse when I'm ot using a speedbar....

i just only try.........i always drob bomb on feling's........my record was drob bomb from 9563 m :oops:

You won't want to fly a bomber again without it, at least I wouldn't. Has to be one of the all time best Il2 mods, pre-modding like we know now at any rate Big Grin

OT Topic (sorry)

My squad leader has a really excellent track of him dropping a bomb from a B-25 onto the deck of one of the jap carriers, and the bomb landing exactly where he wanted it to... on the wing of a player :mrgreen:

Bomb had like a 2 second delay, so after taking the wing off, the pilot was like sitting there going "What...?" And then BOOOM :mrgreen:

I believe this was from 20,000 odd feet...

Wish I could do that. He did it with manual entries I think... but might be wrong. He too is an avid believer in the bomb sight table. Best bombing I can do is in the TB-3. Nice and steady that girl - and using manual entries... workin on the B-17's ATM.

There is a bomber that has instruments in one unit, but bombsight in another. Can't think which one off the top of my head.

So when does this table appear on game?

After you've started the Bombsight Table 2 program, you show or hide it by pressing SHIFT+Pause or SHIFT+Break depending on your keyboard. It should tell in the readme. When it is showing the "table" will always be on top.

The other controls are;

Shift+PgUP Shift+PgDn to enter Altitude
Ctrl+PgUP Ctrl+PgDn to enter Indicated Airspeed
Alt+PgUP Alt+PgDn to enter Distance (if desired)

But as these are written on the table you don't need to memorise them.

The thing I like best about it is that it gives you the bombing angle. Like this with the Pe2 bombsight for eg., you just have to input the angle to the sight and your accuracy is assured.

i tried as you said but the table doesnt appear on game.Does it appear at some camera view or it must be installed in a specified folder?

It has an installer wizard, the default is C:/program files/bombsight table 2, which is where I installed mine.

The table shows when you start Bombsight table 2, no matter if Il2 is running or not. You press Shift+Pause just to hide the table.

Don't know how your going wrong but there's a readme and contact info's in the download.

I saw that installer,i installed successfully but even opening manually the table and using the keys even with game on or off theres no difference , nothing works , there are some numbers i cant change on The Table even before touching it. Is that normal ? Its supposed to be all at 0 right? But i installed with those numbers already there
