Is it possible that someone add Torpedoes for PBY Catalina?

Add Torpedoes...No. Make a new one with Torpedoes... yes.

And besides. The game doesn't even have the Catalina :wink: What we have is the earlier Nomad that lacks landing gears.

Major Jack Cramm of the Cactus AF fame! Ha. Geiger's pilot that pulled off that torpedo attack and sank that large transport off the beach near Lunga point I think it was.

Yeah, this is the seaplane version, but I do hope we get the amphib with gear. Besides, I believe there were some field mods made (In the REAL field) that allowed the torp to be used, as was the case with Gieger's PBY that had such a mod that allowed it to carry them.

I had in mind re-doing my old CFS-2 cmpn "87 days of Cactus" again. Back then we had a user made PBY that worked well. Pity that CFS2 was such an aborted abomination.

after seeing those flare loadouts for the Mossie, and everything else being done here, the question isn't what is possible. the question is...

I feel the same way. Just a matter of getting enough people interested I guess. It'd be great to water land, then come right up on shore- but there's soooo much here already, and in dev 8)

It would be fantastic if someone could realize a true CATALINA with landing gear and new armament (Torpedoes by exemple)

not at the minute. There are way to many projects:

Lancaster
Wellington
FW190A3
P82
P61
Seafury
Spitefull
Spit XIV
Meteor
Neptune
6 new versions of P51/47
Typhoon I b / II
A36 apache
BF109 G12
HE 111 H 20

Just to name a few. I dont think any new projects will be taken on until we have cleared the backlog of projects
