Beautiful, I love four-engined bomber intercept pictures, it's been sometime I wanted to make a picture and edit it, it would be a 109 diving alone into B-17 formation at high altitude. If this one was a bit bigger, it would've been my new wallpaper xD

@ metalheadbaz: Its prolly just attention to detail, patience and the right tools I guess mate, cant really say from my own point of view anything more than that mate, it does give me a certain satisfaction/buzz to create something from an Idea or from imagination, make an image of it to actually see & which everyone else can see

@Leigh & Suicider : These are IL2 series in game shots using skins I,ve created, skins I make are 'Super Detailed' and include 2D/3D simulated effects which believe it or not make a big difference to how the aircraft appears in game, my game has no mods as yet altering appearance eg:plane shine mod, the B17s you see look like that in Game mod free
This Image took a few days to do, an hour here, couple there, prolly about 10 hours in total which is prolly roughly an average time for an image of this complexity, by complexity I mean the amount of aircraft in the pic, the effects & rendering to & for each of them

@Murilo I can drop a link for a 2000x1500 with/without border version of the pic if you like?

I' ve got to admit when you do high detail shots (screen art) you miss out on the simpler things

like on my 51's i missed the props
