Bf-110C Flight Model - Graf - 16.09.2008

No, this isn't a request to change the existing FM. Wink

I'm starting to think it needs a whole new FM/Slot tho. Big Grin

Currently as is the C-4 and C-4/B cannot dive past 400mph w/out breaking apart...it begans to violently shake at its normal top speed of 340mph...and new loadouts are needed. Wink

In reality the C4/B was never used in combat...only two I think were built...the fighter-bomber variant mainly used over England during BoB was the D-0/B.

Someone purdy please take a look at this! Big Grin

Indeed, some of the flyable planes have horrible FM's, and should be "upgraded" to a new slot.

- RAF_Leigh - 16.09.2008

yer they should

but they are working on bigger projects with new models and stuff like that like that lanc

but one day we will get it

who know someone may eb already working on it

This would require no actual 3D changes, right?

If that is the case, what can you provide in terms of flight data and loadout listings?

- Graf - 16.09.2008

Correct. No exterior 3D changes.

As for variants and loadouts I have every book by John Vasco(the 110 expert) and can provide serious data if needed. Smile

As I said I believe in the FM but the 110s top speed and its diving speed are seriously hampered.

I'll talk to the gurus, maybe we can squeeze her in. What about the 900l tank, was it around at the time or is it a later addition?

- Graf - 16.09.2008

Actual size of the "Dackelbauch" was 1050 litres. Wink And yes, it was in use during the BoB although in very limited numbers.

Also I must admit to a mistake on the 3D part. The tail assembly was lengthened to allow storage for a dinghy and other material. Some D/E models have this and some do not tho it seems the D-0/B was a model that had the lengthened fuselage. The intake on the engine was also slightly modified tho not a huge external difference.

I referred to the 900l drop tank, not the Dackelbauch. Wink

I'm sure someone already altered the C mesh to have the lengthened fuselage, need to search for that.

- Trooper117 - 16.09.2008

Off the top of my head without my books to hand..external cable to release the above on the port rear fuselage.. (sorry, that isn't a problem as it can be added in a skin maybe?)

Got those books by Vasco myself.. excellent ref material. Smile

- Graf - 16.09.2008

mrbingle has already extended the rear fuselage if I recall correctly.

- BH_Blue - 16.09.2008

Uh huh? Oh really?

Well, why not put projects like this on hold until we get the Do17, He219, Me234 as well then?
