Very nice. Been waiting for this one.
Where do I place the file so the game will find it?
- 4./JG53_Badger - 25.10.2008
Theres a readme file in the download....So easy a Cave Man could do it....
- MB-BOB - 25.10.2008
call me a caveman...
It's installed fine and I can see the new skin in FMB. I'm building a very simple air-start intercept with a P51. I can place the P51 just fine, and can place the V-1, too. But I get a "Green" route when I try to set the V-1 flightpath, and I cannot see the V-1 in play mode.
I'm new to FMB so be gentle. I know I'm doing something stupid... But my OEM box of IL-2 1946 came without any documentation at all, so I have no instructions on how to build missions.

There should be a PDF manual on the DVD

I recommend finding a few good V-1 missions already made up then use them in FMB to see how they have them made up...

my computer windows midea player doesn't support that video. so i can't see what is inside of it. i am trying to make a V-1 mission too

its actually not a video, its similar to a word document
rockets arn't planes, so you can't see them using shift/ctrl 2.
the flightpath is set using the target, which is always green.
the target must be over 20k away from the starting point or it will not load into the mission.
when ground launching, it must be over 80k away.
the rockets can be destroyed by shooting, but are rather durable as there isn't much to damage and they are also rather small. If one catches fire you'd better split though. if you prefer, you can tip them, by slipping your wingtip under one's wing and giving it a nudge.
