[BETA] JU88 cockpit repaint UPDATED 30/04 - bolox - 01.03.2009

Thanks to F22_Raptor_2006 for the installer and Avala for the gauge reflections

updated version now has an installer which dramatically reduces download~50mb now and have reduced some file sizes so it now only(?) takes up 470mb of hard drive.
there is an extras folder which contains a g/f pic psd file, a round engine gauge plate option matching the one in the torp version, and a readme.

this is designed purely for the 'normal' 88 but only has a small graphical conflict with the oxygen bottle of the torp version. hopefully i'll fix this when/if i play with the torp version.

eh , just like a dream Big Grin .... when you stop treating Vista as XP it gets amazingly smooth

finding 64bit drivers and apps is pain in the ... ( you know) and Tga converter is a no no here ( unfortunately ) but having 4GB ram recognized is a good compensation IMHO. Also having old comp (32bit) workable via LAN helps a lot .

sorry Bolox for the off topic ....

Great ! Fantastic ! Many thanks ! :o

- ringilldun - 02.03.2009

Thanks! My elderly PC can not cope with all positions at once, but the pilots position alone will do fine until I upgrade. :-)

last two pics are of torp version in UI as i'm trying to make it compatible but there are a couple of conflicts- at the moment i'm thinking of putting these files in a separate 'mod' folder to enable them to be enabled/disabled depending on which 88 you plan to fly. is this a good way to go or a PITA? the other option is to release a 'normal' and a torp version as separate complete versions- your thoughts..

have dropped file size down by~150mb mainly by doing 512 versions of gauges for gunner positions- i'm planning on only one version for final release- but you can always replace textures manually if you so wish

The pics look excellent!
I would say that two separate mods would be more convenient for users.
But i guess more work for you...but whatever you decide is good.

2 separate mods is little extra work but is another large download and another~500mb of hard drive space, 95% of it duplication
