QMBPlus_Superpack - 3dwa21 - 25.03.2009
I tried to install the QMBPlus Superpack, but it didn't work. I Allready have an working QMBPlus.

do you have the actual maps? Have you actually added the maps for quick missions to the conf.ini list? [leastaways i think it was that one....] have you installed them to the correct QMB folder (i installed them to the wrong one once) Do you have patch 4.09mb1? Some maps only work with that. Check these things.

3dwa21, look at your [quick] list, it goes from 7 to 9, where is 8?
Anything under the missing number will not work.

I just looked at the readme from the superpack and it is misnumbered too, it goes from 7 to 9.
Every entry after 7 has to have its number changed so the sequence is not broken

3dwa21, i reckon i know your problem.
You want to have installed them into your QMBplus folder located in MODS:
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\QMBPlus\Missions\Quick
....is where mine are saved.
you, on the other hand, have saved yours here: C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Missions\Quick

Copy the Quicks folder you've saved those files to into the the quicks folder in the QMBPlus folder found in MODS, and your quick missions should indeed work (leastaways it works on my comp). You can thank me later! In fact... Hell, you can thank me now! XD--edit--
oh, and you ought to correct your load order, which some people pointed out was missing a map 8. G'luck!

No, it don't work. please make a sreenshot of your Folders, so that i can look if i had made something wrong.

there we are. Bear in mind, you've vista, so you IL2 1946 folder will be installed to a location different to C:/
This is the installation that works for me with my QMBPlus folder.

read the instructions. Seems fairly straight forward, just follow them. You download the QMBPlus 1.1 pack, yes? Then copy the folder 'QMBPlus' into your MODS folder, yes? Then add lines from the gui_ru file found in the mod pack to the gui_ru located here (and be sure not to overwrite!):
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Files\i18n
then update the maps list in conf ini, and make sure you corrected it as last time you were missing map 8, which would cause all subsequent maps in the list to not work.
