Change speedbar position or fontsize - modil2 - 10.05.2010

I have HSX 4.1 and was wondering if I could change the speedbar's position on the screen a bit or even better increase the fontsize?

I only play offline exclusively on a Matrox Triplehead2go and the position and size are currently useless for me.

I want to see my speed and altitude while I fly in 3D cockpit view.



(What I would really like is to have the 3-D cockpit view with the gauges on the "superman" view like ROF but I know that is not possible).
(have tried updspeed but could not get it working despite many many hours - I suspect if I had windows xp rather than vista I would have got it working in less than 1 hour)

Are you running San's FOV program?
It will give you better field of view.

Yes I am already, thanks (cannot use th2go without it).

I should point out for the sake of correctness and not giving a false impression that probably 100 out of 100 people will not find the speedbar location and fontsize an issue with the Matrox th2g0.

It is only because of me having vision problems, you see I had the problem even before using th2go, though I concede it is slightly worse.

So no reason not to get the th2go - it is fantastic.

Do a search here for a mod called "fontmod", you can install it just by adding it to your mods folder. It allows you to reset fonts for both the game's gui and for the HUD ingame.

Sorry that does not work. It used to work with AAA 1.1 but not HSFX

It works for me in HSFX 4.11. I just put it in my Mods folder and set up the font to taste.

Question: Are you familiar with how to add additional/different fonts to replace those in the MOD "fonts" folder?

Just take the other Font Mod that you D/L'd and swap out the fonts files into the other mod.
Keep the file structure in tact or it won't work.
