Hi FC,
This looks to be really nice mod! I just downloaded it last night, though, and only had time to try one mission, which I saved, and then got the dreaded "wtrong target" notice. I know that is discussed in this thread and the readme in some detail, so I'm not asking about that. But because the install instructions are a little sparse, I want to make sure I did it correctly. I have 2 questions:
Q1: The "files" folder goes into the IL2 root "Files" folder, not the MODS "file" folder (per Mr. Jolly's advice, I didn't rename that one to "basic" or whatever), right? (I realize that because I got QMB to show and work--sort of-- that I must have it right, but glitches happen so I just want to confirm.)
Q2: Where do the tga's go? I dumped them with the Files folder into the root's File folder, but for good measure, I also threw them into the MODS file folder.
Thanks!!

Hi saunders1953,
Just a quick help from me:
Q1: do not put any Files folder within your existing Files folder: you should instead put the contents of the files folder from QMPPlus (Missions folder and 11 encrypted files), straight into your existing Files folder.
Q2: the .tgas go nowhere. I suppose these are screenshots taken from in game, so that the user who downloads the MOD can see what will be changed on his QMB screen. That is helpful to confirm that you installed the MOD correctly, and to help you understand what QMBPlus brings. But it does not have to be installed anywhere. On the other hand, even if you installed them as you describe, they will create no harm.
Did you apply the other instructions to modify your conf.ini? This is important.
Cheers,
Vincent

Thanks vtrelut,
I should have clarified that I put the contents of the Files folder into the existing Files folder in the root. I should have figured out the tga's were only for reference. I did add the lines in the conf.ini. I think I just didn't save the mission correctly.

Has anyone gotten around to making a quick mission set for these new maps and targets? Would you mind sharing them? You would be very much loved and admired by all. I promise.

Great Mod !
I hope their will be further more community maps like Malta and so on
But I still gut "wrong target" error in nearly every map when i choose "quickstrike" or "quickscramble"

You can now place Quick (missions) folder in IL-2/Missions folder to access with button to edit and play directly from that folder IL-2/Missions/Quick:

Could anybody tell me which is the real name of the OdessaOnline map? Because I'm trying to include it in the QMB, and no way.
- Seimiev - 19.03.2008
From my all.ini file:
Odessa_Online Bessarabia/load_Odessa.ini

No, it doesn't work either. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've included lots of new maps but I can't definitely include this one.
How I succeeded with Odessa map in QMBPlus -

1. In FMB, I created the missions OdessaRedNone00.mis and OdessaRedScramble00.mis, both using Odessa_Online map. Using Notepad to open these missions, there is written:
MAP Bessarabia/load_Odessa.ini.
2. Both missions were saved in Missions/Quick/ folder and this address was added to the end of filelist.txt:
Missions/Quick/OdessaRedNone00.mis
Missions/Quick/OdessaRedScramble00.mis
3. To the end of conf.ini file, the following text was added:
[quick]
Custom0=NWEurope
Custom1=MTO
Custom2=Bessarabia
Custom3=Moscow2
Custom4=Midway
Custom5=PacificIslands
Custom6=Manchuria
Custom7=Odessa
And voila - it works quite well. There are , of course, four planes and their waypoints for both blue and red army.
