Well, I read through the whole post and found nothing about anyone trying to fix the P-51D and P-47 issue. I suppose there is no fix for the problem.
Just so no one has to ask. The problem is that those two acft only have numbers on the fuselage and in the wrong place. You cannot use the Alphnumeric codes like the British as was the case for nearly all USAAF acft serving in the ETO. The codes work for the P-51B/C so why has no one tried to get them to work on the P-51D and P-47?

okay, I just downloaded this to see just how well it works, but when I downloaded the file from filefront, it said it was only 2.5 Meg. Is this right?
I currently have another Mat manager that reports to do the same as this one and it's over 200MB.

Works well enough for me; haven't come across any issues major or minor as of yet.
Thanks, McWolf!
P.S. Your use of the regiments files showed me how to add custom regiments to the offline single-player mode, so thanks for that as well!

yes, it's correct.
For that problem you mentioned in your first post, it need to edit Class, initial limit by the game, I don't know Java, and can't edit it. As I mentioned before, if someone can edit it, IL2 can do have more correct marking in more details and correct position.
PS: a random aircraft marking on airport will show you the big different with Mat Manager. Yes, all aircraft have same marking effect, even the random number. 8)

Hello, McWolf.
I'm sorry, but I just can't understand whether the mod is working on my system or not:
If it isn't, maybe I missed some line in the config?
Thanks.
Regards,
Mangas.

Hi Mangas,

No, I didn't. Besides, your mod readme says:
Note:
1. if you installed NewMat or IL2 Mat Manger before, please delete it or disable it
So that's why I'm confused.

This mod change the default mat output filter and setting, so you need to keep the cache folder empty and no other mod control mat at same time.

EDIT: It's working now! Did't clear the cache folder before!...
Thank you & happy Easter!
