Will this entire sound mod be compressed SFS files to make it more compatible with the new HSFX and UP 1.8?.... I really don't want to add more code to the game that's not compressed anymore. I'm super spoiled with UP 1.8 load times.

Yup, and testing shows that some limitations of game engine have been overcomed, this will definitely be a revolution in the way we game the sim (no more sonar).

.. only Tiger knows, he said that not to delay the (eagerly awaited) UV2 release he didn't include his last improvement regarding the (F3 key) fly-by effect that is currently "bugged" for speeds under 250 km/h, that is mostly on take-off and landing, at such low speeds the fly-by effect samples beeing a little out of sync with the image.
Since fixing that means a hell of a lot of extra (free) work, this will be fixed in a future update ....
Let's all bear in mind that it took Tiger more than 9 months to make his thrilling mod ....
