The Japanese modders (JapanCat?) who corrected the A6M5 mentioned the Ki-44 as a future project of theirs.

bumping this one back to the first page because there are F16's starting to show up there and this one is WW2-in my humble opinion i would like to see the WW2 aircraft completed first-

Sad ?

I just had a chat with StefanC who is doing the mod.

He stopped working on this because he lost his PC and power tools, but kept the files he'd done. He will have his tools back within a few days and resume work on the mod.

The present state is the airframe, skin and interior. The damage model graphics are not done and he has some techy things he needs to sort out. Regardless he'll be working on it again, no ETA though.

Hello,

Red lines is where I have to put caps and I still have to add the gear since I don't have any blueprints for them or pictures
I don't know how to make them look. Also if you look at the picture with the Ki-43 you see all these little wire-boxes, now
as far as I know or to be more precise THINK they are the lights (landing Lights, Nav Lights) and things such as the fire weapon
effects, but of course I don't know; Also I don't understand the naming of the parts. Could anyone help me out where these boxes
are for and whether its important or not where I place them ? Also how to name them ...

Oh btw,

I work 57 hours a week then 8x7 hours sleep that will leave me my free time but ofcourse I also have 7 shows to watch per week wich are 45 mins each lol, then also my computer has been broken for a while, well both my harddrives to be exact and that leaves the reason for the slow progress.

Greetings,

Stefan Coert

They are important as that is how the game reads the where the limits of the meshes are in relation to the game's world (in very summarised and laymens terms), and attaches the various effects like smoke, fuel leaks, fire, lights etc...

I have the Hawker Hurricane completely pulled out and assembled with all the hooks/clips there, I could upload it and send it to you if you wished. That way you can get the naming and placement correct at your pace.

Ok, Stefanc, check your PM's...

Just to congratulate the idea people had to have the Shoki in-game and also to thank stefanc481 for all his efforts in modelling this plane.

I just wanted to bump this one to the first page,it would be nice to see the World War 2 aircraft finished before any WW 1 bi-planes,F 18's,or Star Trek Enterprises, after all, this WAS supposed to have been a WW2 flight sim.

- Aymar_Mauri - 15.05.2009

Since there seems to be a lack of info on the Ki-44 I hope I might contribute with this:
