F-86A-5 Bomb Delay Bug - Aviar - 16.11.2009

It looks as if there is another bug concerning the F-86A-5 bombs. The bomb delay does not work at all. As soon as the bombs hit, they blow up. I tested this and it's confirmed. Even a high delay of 9 seconds has no effect.

*This may be related to the earlier bomb bug we found that causes the bombs to be treated like rockets, but I thought it best to report it anyway.

Known (but thanks for reporting it Smile). It will be fixed in the next patch

Actually the German technology had little influence on jet development in the UK and US.

Turbine engines were already being developed outside of Germany during the 20's and 30's.

Little nose wheel jig - Guest - 22.11.2009

Does anyone else get the nose wheel jig problem with the F86 ( bouncing up and down fast ) when the aircraft is stationary on the ground before takeoff ?

- Aviar - 23.11.2009

I think everyone does. It seems to be common among some of the new planes. For instance, the MiG-15(bis) and Panther have the same issue. If you look closely at a similar but unmodded plane (YP-80), it also 'bounces', but to a much lesser degree. Obviously, the nose wheel suspension is being simulated. However, it seems as if the modders have not figured out how to control this excessive bounce.

I think I have...

- PeterD - 23.11.2009

My aircrafts suffer from a different kind of bounce that is all my fault, so I'm the one to blame :-? Having said that, yes the stock P-80 bounces a bit on its own aswell.
