First to congratulate Fredy for this excellent MOD, The Bf-109 cockpits, needed urgent modernization

But I think that MOD has a small fault, with the new gunsight, in the Bf-109F and G early models, it is impossible see the remaining ammunition for the cannon Cry, Is covered by the cable of the gunsight....

It could withdraw that cable Models F and G early????

Greetings

You need to move around a bit to see it... just like in real life... not everything in real world is set in to a panoramic view for our eyes. I personaly like this as it ads a bit of "life-like" to the cockpit. And when I'm fireing my canon I'm counting the shots in my head Tongue .

Zaelu, it became so natural for you to have a look where ever you want that you forgoted that not everybody is able to do it...

Freddy I love the cockpits, but truly hate that 'highway pass' thing in the window! Is there an easy way to remove this?

- zaelu - 10.04.2008

Ok, now I am at work but when I reach home I will upload my modified "windshield" file and I will try to move the gunsight lamp wire a bit more to the right and upload that file too.

So who want to use them should have the oportunity.

That's unless Freddy wants to personally do it.

I do not use 6DOF for the TrackIr, yherefore, I can not move around to see the gun ammo

Cockpits for AAA's mod pack - aidas2 - 10.04.2008

Can some1 make cockpits for AAA's mod pack becauze when I downloaded B17g and C47 i istall them and when I play there's no new cockpits?

- zaelu - 10.04.2008

OK, here are two links:

Orange Circle Removed

and

Wire Moved to the right a bit

Pick your choice and put the "3do" folder inside your 109 cockpit mod made by Freddy. It will ask for overwrite, say Yes. A backup of the Mod is recommended... maybe you don't like it. Just make a copy of the 109s cockpit mod made by Freddy folder to Desktop or whereever you like.

It should look like this:

example G2 without the orange roundel and wire moved (in Gunsight OFF mode)

example G2 with the wire moved and in "gunsight ON mode"

Now much much better thanks

The orange circle is historically correct?????
Not what had ever seen, in any place

- zaelu - 10.04.2008

Yes, it appears it was historical, it was something embeded in to the armored glass... dunno what was the purpose of it.

- Uther - 10.04.2008

Thanks zaelu!
Sorry Freddy I love the rest of the cockpit, just not that orange circle

- Uther - 10.04.2008

thanks zaelu
