It isn't that it takes me a whole lot of time to do them (standalone installers) -ok it does take some time, but not THAT much- but rather, that I have discovered some incompatibilities with other mods (for instance, the Wind turbulence mod). The advantages of using HSFX, regardless of the 'pain' it can be to download it, are so huge that I have even considered not releasing a standalone version (don't worry, it's not the case).
@Alex T: it may be a huge download, it may contain stuff you could care less of, but what is the instant benefit? zero penalty in loading times. Faster than dropping the standalone version into your MODS folder and firing up the game.
Just so there is no confusion, I don't want to force anyone into using HSFX4.1, so yes standalone installers will be available, both as auto-installers and as manua-only-SAS-like packs. Keep in mind that you will need an updated BUTTONS file (possibly from SAS or UP or w/e)
In any case, around February I will have (hopefully) some updated 3d stuff for the aircrafts (late sabre 6'3 wings, possibly a correct windshield too, updated mig-17 wings etc).

It's Great to have the MiG-15 into this but the FM is very wrong.. it need correction.

Your feedback is not helpful, you need to explain why and how you think these FM is wrong? Any data and explanation will be helpful to PeterD.
And PeterD,
can you please release them as stand alone version too, it become very, very frustrating to have more AC being released in mega pack only when a lot of us have personal customized mod installation with many mods and add-on with our own customized air.ini and plane_ru list.

Simple, I flew in MiG15, 17 Yak9's etc.. in RL ..
I do not play with IL2 anymore for quite some time but sometime i like to see what's new..
PS: the big plus for HSFX is that you can finally place back the original sounds and forget about the new ones

Hi, guys
I have a little problem here, I tried to install the Sabre and the MiG but eventually I messed up my Il-2 installation, I had the AC 3.8 and tried to install the needed UI 1.2, and thus killed my simulator. So can anyone tell me what should I do in order to run the sabre and the mig as well as mods like B-29SP, the thunderjet and the panther?

To install this epic cockpit, unpack the .7z file in your mods folder.
People still using UI 1.2, make sure the name of the folder for this mod comes before the Sabre's mod folder (alphabetically).
