ahhhahaha....yep i know him

Yes, I agree with Boelcke! I love this map and japan DGEN campaigns.

No don't worry guys i'm not gonna change this.
A repaint and nice harbors is quite enough.

New Nagaski harbor installations
Goblin check pm, new link for test download.
Please chek for any fps drop in Nagasaki habor sector. All is classical LAL_Rone repainted bildings so no problem in theory
.....i hope.
I'm discovering the so bad topology of this map. impossible to make historical harbors. i'm doing my best to give them a realistic aspect. Agracie you were right....populate is so fun !!!

Something possible : if you encounter fps pbs above heavily populated areas, you may use objects CanonUK made for his Channel map : he made houses by group & without shadow : so, no dramatic loose of fps above them ....just an idea
Keep on the great work (are Okinawa & Iwo Jima final releases ?)

Ok will see this. Anyway i noticed that by cancelling internal bildings and trees from inside of cities i could be able to make very detailed harbors, with 100% industrial new banks and no fps loss.
With detailed textures 15% of the houses can be cancelled and replaced by realistic habors without any visual impact. so cities remain cities but with much realism. It's a big improvement.

Is it possible to create a texture for the mass concrete areas such as in the docks?? It is the only unreal looking part of the harbour.
It would look good in different shades and colours so the eyes are not attracted to it.
That aside, keep up the great work Redko, I watch this thread with great anticipation.

And nop. Iwo is fine as now but i'm thinking to redo the beaches and find some more sandy aches textures and repaint the Mount. This map is good enought. BUT for Okinawa there lot to do = i will repopulated completly this map with all fully detailed harbors and cities, change the cities textures which are bad compared to Kyushu. It's gonna be a better map than my actual repaint !
Revi you are right. i don't like the actual concrete rendering i'm looking to a way to make it appear more real and vintage.

Great...anything that breaks up that solid unnatural grey block. If I could offer some help, I would have already, hopefully you come across a solution.
I'm loving the look of your map, keep up the great work.

Ok so agracier tested the map too and no problem, no artefacts = i go on to finish this !
