observations and guess work - Koi - 18.11.2007
what I noticed about our gal Kate
Cockpit works well, and I love it.
but seem a bit too high and too far back. It seems to be located where the radio for the bombadier would be. This is more of an asthetic than opperational problem and infact makes forward over the nose view a bit easier.
What I thought earlier was the torpedo sights seems to be the top frame arch of the pilots windscreen.
When on a carrier, after landing, putting Kates chocks on to make the plane invisible to an incomming aircraft, does not seem to work. I think This might be caused by the AI's ability to just fold wings, turn 90 degrees and disapear off the deck. To over come this problem a player just needs to exit game to clear deck for other incoming players or AI inorder to avoid colisions.
It is too bad that the cockpit cant be more rounded over the nose in keeping with a radial engine aircraft .
The HUD sight should not be used

Thanks MrJolly!!!
Really pleased with this little gem....
I prefer the gunner view on the D3A as aiming is easyer, and would love a bead-iron-sight for crude aiming, just my 2 cents..
Best Regards, zol

Yes Yes,
I dont know if its possible, but a ring-and-bead-iron-torpedo sight would be just exellent...
But if the Beta would stay the way it is I would be very happy anyway
))
Thanks again for your exellent work,
Never thought this would happen...
Regards, zoltann/Robert

VERSION2
ok i hope the new release sorts out a few things - the cockpit has been lowered & there is a small site on the end of the engine cowling. The rear gunner now has a japanese style recticle sight
