Just put Mods folder in you il2 and it should do it for you. There are a few missing some german crosses on FW-190 and number 5 on russian aircraft, I've spoted so far... just havent got round to updating it.

This was exactly my problem - even though I am using mat manager, and it is working correctly, I would still get SOME static a/c with these huge "yellow 77" and "red 99" numbers, really bright and total immersion killers. This mod simply removed them. I still get the mat manager generated numbers, even on the statics, but the weird ones are gone.

Good mod. The immersion killer for me when playing online on servers with external views, is when people use incorrect national markings on their planes eg, German markings on a Zero, or Japanese markings on a Spitfire. For me the holy grail of skinmods would allow me control over how I view national markings at my end, ie correct markings appearing for me regardless what people have chosen their end.
If someone could do this I would be in il2 nirvana.
