So, wingflyr... I am still trying to understand... I have watched if it was a question of capital or normal letters, but it does not seem to be... I am still not finding the solution...

Hi Gaston , sorry for the delay M8 Im also busy with home renos and RL things :lol: , anyhow...

I tested the imputs for the countries below and works fine with missions. The little boxes

must be present and in the proper places in country_ru.properties, very important. The

i18n folder in relation to the mods files, not the one in the main game.

This is how it should look like,



Ignore the some campaign missions, country icons, and rank properties, only used as

examples, you can put anything you like in there. Hope this helps Cheers Wingflyr.

Oh... I see !!! I do not have the little boxes, that is why it does not work !!!

I will add them tonight (can anyone tell me how to find them ??? can't find them on the keyboard...), and tell you if it works or not...

OK. I have found. Thanks to Dennis, who sent me his country_ru.properties file.

In fact, I think it was not a question of squares or spaces...

My game is in locale=fr.

As Dennis' _ru files also did not work, I tried to copy them naming them :

-country.properties and
-country_fr.properties

amd... it made it !!!

I even add a fourth nation : Managua, for brilliant Ob

Did someone collect necessary graphics (roundels and other) and all one would need for adding new countries? Having "country packs" would be a great thing, so people can add them as they wish. I found Croatia in the 4.05 section, but that's all - China (+AVG), Spain (Nat and Rep), Yugoslavia (Royalist and Communist), Bulgaria, Belgium, Norway, Greece, Vichy, Switzerland, Canada, South Africa... all these would be very useful and many of these already have custom campaigns built for them.

I am working on it... for the moment, I just try to add red sided Spain.

Why just this one for the beginning ???

Well...first because I made a Spanish campaigns some years ago, and would like to use the spanish speechpack I found on the net... also, I do not think that Switzerland (or Belgium) need a specific language, so missions for these nations can be created as French with custom skins.

Same for Chinese if we create AVG's campaigns/missions : they can be created as US with custom skins...

For the moment, I just modified the 2 reg properties files :

-regInfo_ru and
-regShort_ru...

But this is not enough...

I have to find how to attach this squadron to a side (red in my case) to make it appear in FMB menu. Also, I have to find a solution to make it use some default markings...

Lots of work, I think !!!

maybe not language, but correct default national markings, unit emblems and names, correct ranks and medals...

It would be a nice thing to have - just as adding the French folder was a nice thing back when all we had was the Germans and the Russki :wink:
