Any chance of un-stretching the fuselage markings?
Great job, BTW! Look forward to it!

Could you tell us, will you try to change the shape of wings also ?
And what about this nice addition ?

The shape of the wings won't change. BK-5 cannon (and maybe telescope) WILL be added.

A Quick history of the Me210/410
The early models of the Me-210 had the short fuselage (total length 11.20m) and had horrible stability problems, vicious stalls and were underpowered (2 x 1350PS DB-601F). With the nose up or in a turn, the deployment of the slats often threw the aircraft into an unrecoverable spin. The Luftwaffe received 90 of these aircraft and hated them. By the A2, the Germans had cured most of the stability/stall issues by lengthening the fuselage (the overall length was now 12.22m) and other changes. Thought still underpowered, the aircraft was better. Production however was halted.
When the Hungarians decided to put the Me-210 into production, they used the long A2 airframe coupled with the 1475PS DB-605 engine which was already in production in Hungary. The Luftwaffe received 108 of these Ca1

The 50mm BK-50 wasn't found to be very effective, and hence wasn't used much.
Normal armament for a Me-410A was 2x7.92mm MG17 (1000rpg) and 2x20mm MG151/20 (350rpg) in nose and 2x13mm MG131 (500rpg) in remote controlled turret.
For bringing down bombers from standoff range, high velocity rapid fire weapons were found to be the most effective. The more popular weapon combo's being
Me410A-2/U2 with a WT-151A gunpod (2x20mm MG151/20 (250rpg)) in the weapons bay
Me410A-2/R4 with a WT-151A gunpod under the fuselage
(no picture)
Me410A-2/U2/R4 with two WT-151A, one in weapons bay, one under fuselage
Me410A-2/R5 with two WT-151A in weapons bay
Me410A-2/R3 with two 30mm Mk103 (100rpg) in weapons bay (also fitted with telescopic sight)
There are stories of Me410's flying with three WT-151A pods (give a total of 8x20mm!!!) but I'm still unsure how this was achieved...

Good info. I'll take a look.

Maybe it could be possible to switch between versions/weapons in ''armament'' slot.
Totalspoon wrote: To modify the in-game Me-210Ca1 to a Me-410A does not require a lengthening of the fuselage.
From what sources do you have that information ? Me 410 was a little bit longer that 210 and has a little shorter wings also.

I don't now what to say.
I just want to thank you very much to bring this monster to live.

I don't know, if I'm right Hellzone is or will be working on a slot+FM.

The info on the Me-410 and Me-210A-2 relationship sounds correct, I've read it before. The 410A-1 entered service in 1943. ZG1 were flying them in mixed groups with Me-210's in June and KG51 switched to them in September. Others like ZG26 and 76 converted in 1944.
I've been hoping for an Me-410 in Il2, since it is pretty much the German Mosquito...a metal one.
They were used with some success and the 1750PS 603A engine is an important in service addition to the Luftwaffe arsenal.
Looking forward to it

S!
Dont forget !!
The rustzatz Kits....
We need 410s against heavy bombers!!!
Woooooo hooooo!!!!

The motors are the most forward-projecting part of the 210, so lengthening them increases the overall length of the plane.
This would be how the 410 could be longer without lengthening the fuselage...
