Bloody marvelous work there Flush! Unbelievably nice - love the runway textures!

Re: matmanager - I myself use her, and believe she's been a fantastic little tool.. however, I now fear that, with the new country's coming along, she'll be null and void... So, this is going to be a fantastic replacement feature...

- fabianfred - 17.04.2008

I would love that concrete to replace the default one......

- Billis851 - 17.04.2008

Very nice!

I'm glad I re-installed 1946 after not playing it for a few years. All the wonderful work created here at AAA makes it like a brand new sim. You modders make a very nice looking sim look incredible. Thanks so much.

Now I have to re-learn how to skin. Been a while. lol

Those Runway Templates are Fanstastic!!!

Are they going to slip into any of the Default Map Upgrades, or any player map that you know about? Just Curious if it has gotten that far Smile

- RAF_Magpie - 17.04.2008

Well, Dixiecapt, I am currently using some of Handy's texures, on my New Zealand WIP
( viewtopic.php?t=3431 ), and would very much like to use both the AirField textures, and Mountain Rock textures shown here, if Flush would be so kind as to allow me to as well - would create quite a nice finish IMHO Wink

Big fan of those runway textures! They'd look great in my English Channel map Smile

Great runway ! Big Grin

Man, When can we get our hands on those!

- Pongie - 17.04.2008

Love that markings idea. I've been mostly too busy finding the right set of markings/numbers for the whole span of WWII once and for all.
Plus Mat Manager - as much as I appreciate the efforts put into - kills me anytime I do a defarg, a back-up or files check. Those zillions of files never really looked at in the game itself just locks up the whole process.
Get it on Flushy! Wink

I showed some squad mates the new Focke Wulf cockpit repaint made by SIR Flushmeister.

They got flushed

Its a new running gag:

"- I have a Spitfire on 3 o clock low. I will flush her.

- I will flush some coffee

- Got flushed by AA. RTB

- Wow, a flushed landing"

@ FlushMeister:

How many slicks did you use for the runway? Big Grin

How about.. 'I'm hit.. I flushed up!'

- Tigershark - 18.04.2008

I agree with Pongie,

I really appreciate the efforts of the Mat manager app, but its a program you have to run in conjunction with IL2.... which when you have 60+ aircraft in the air, all with custom markings, it tends to chugg and hicciup, maybe even seize up...

If FlushMeister does this right, and gives the markings a rehaul yet stays within their size in kbs or whatever, it would preserve FPS...

Go Flushy!!

lol

Very good idea Trooper117

Pilot1 to Pilot 2:

"The great lord said to me: I will survive this battle but he's shure you're flushed up"

Back to topic:
Great work! When runway is flu.... ready . . . it will be an excellent texture for the airbases. It should be seen on every map with this texture.
