Just copy samples to your Files/Samples folder. These sounds are compatible with 0.90 - 0.93 Sound Mod versions only, NOT with SFX version.

thank you m8 for your work, just one thing: is there a way to CHANGE external vs. internal sound samples? Your previous post above just explain How to change VOLUME of them but is this the only way to have different external vs. internal sound? I think the difference between these sound would be to use OCCLUSION filter in internal ones, could you manage to give these effect? it would be a perfect work then even now is very good
.S!

M-m-m...about difference between external and internal sounds -

As you hear, there is a GREAT difference between ones, and I don't think that any filters could help in this situation (anyway, I can't use occlusion filter or something like it  ). If somebody CREATE new internal sounds - it would be intresting, but not authentic (like default IL-2 sounds). On the other hand, there are VERY few movies with the real internal sound of good quality (like the one above). Of course - a really difficult situation :? .

Thank you for your prompt reply Hajo, don't worry my request was not for Hi-Fi sound, just if you could re-compilate at your right taste the external/internal volume change. I'll use as default.Thank again

I made a big error when adding this to my files/samples. I deleted my old merlin sounds and then added these and now Il-2 won't load, I get the splash screen and then it exits at 95%.
Plz can someone PM me their old merlin sounds or does someone know how to get round this problem?
Regards

you still have your sound mod which you installed? do you keep the rar files? then unzip to a temp folder and copy paste the files
