First time you use it you have to browse to the .exe's location to point the way. Oh, and make sure you make a copy of your IL2FB.exe, rename it to Il2.exe and put it back in the 1946 directory alongside your original Il2FB.exe. Mat manager needs 2 exe's to run.
And btw, burn the buggers! Il-2 mat manager is half the game -
be sure!

Ok check your C:\programme files\ubi....There may be a "IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles" file in there next to your 1946 folder. The paint schemes and Co-op Reg files will be in there. They need to be moved to your 46 folder then do as Bee said and all should be well.

Red fox, those icon thingies
are exe files. I didnt mean that you need to type the file extension at the end of the name.
BTW chaps, the old Il-2 game used to be inside a folder called Ubisoft (all one word), the later 1946 version installs next to it in a folder called Ubi Soft (two words). Have a look in your Program Files and you'll probably find them there

Mate scroll down to Faded...I use RLM74 Balkenkreuzes, Faded numbers and faded Stab markings and they all blend well together and look used

Now now, don't be mean to mat manager.
You see, Mat Manager is like the local retarded child. Sure; its difficult to be around, yes it can do some embarrassing things in public, ok - yes it is a little slow on the upchuck... BUT, its like that Beautiful mind fellow; brilliant when it gets down to work.
