Gaston, here viewtopic.php?t=6720 char_aznable
added a marking for the MC 200 Serie Uno that works perfectly.A suggestion is to talk with him, he might be able to help.I tried to re-arrange the files many times, I am sure is not a problem of arrangement.

This has no solution : if you create a mission using the new nations or a new squadron, and play it online, other players will also need this mod to join in !!!
It is pure logic, I think...
So, solution is very simple : just desactivate this mod with JSGME for online play, unless all players joining in do not have it !!!
Hey thank you very much,I love that MOD and I love the spanish voices(Im from Spain
)but I have a Question.Did you added the Insignias of those new scuadrons?Cause I select the Spanish country but in the plane don't appeard any Insignia(Like Russian red star or german cross). Its for something I do wrong when I installed or you don't put it??
BTW All is perfect

I have learned about aircraft files this week and the key to place national markings in planes seems to be specific to each plane for each nationality, eg. spitfires have markings in certain position defined in aircraft's files (located in 3do i guess), and this position can vary for different nationalities (for GB is located here and for USAAF there), while 109's and any other aircraft have their own files storing this data to each nationality (in certain aircraft these data ever erase the national marking for a specific plane in specific nationality, like F4Us or P-38s for any US force). I hardly trying to discover what file in aircraft data store this information (if anyone knows, please tell me) to try put default markings and number for new nationalities on every aircraft. If i discover, i tell everyone, but i appreciate if anyone could help me a bit (i'm new in mod design and still learning). Sorry for my english...

- Tigre_dos_Pampas - 27.08.2008
I guess i did some progress trying to put default markings to new nations... watchs this viewtopic.php?p=89979#89979
All we need is a class file decompiler and recompiler

I have seen, Tigre !!! but here, I must confess my unability to do this : this goes beyond my skills... seems much too complicated for me, and I am afraid to do a very bad job on that...

OK, man... May I suggest you to use the "MoreNationsAndSquadrons V4" as a basis ???
If I add some new nation, I will advise you (as we have a Malvinas map, I was thinking about adding Argentina blue sided...).
Quastion : for some of the "reverted" nations (such as Vichy France, USA blue-sided or UK blue-sided), is it possible to use the pre-existing rules and markings for the new-sided version ???
Of course, it will not work with Italy, Romania, Bulgaria or Finland (for example), as they change their roundels when they changed their alliances...

Yes... i believe... the roundels and numbers markings positions are described by specific lines in java classes files to each nation, copying the lines of stock nations to reverted nations will copy the markings positions, so we can have a reverted nation with the same marking pattern of their respective stock nation...
but to affirm this i need to test in practice, and now i stuck trying to recompile the files... it seems to, during recompiling, java compiler don't recognize windows directory system, and the program can't import some other classes files used to encoding file.
Beside of this, yesterday i discovered that 4.08m and higher versions of il2 uses the same files, but encrypted. Somebody here with some veterancy in il2 modding knows this, but i, starting modding a few days, innocently gone in the wrong way. With this i go back again to mark zero...
if someone here knows how to break the code and recompile the files after editing i will get much, much happier
the files are located at files.com.maddox.il2.objects.air.paintscheme*** (or any beginning with com.maddox.il2.objects.air.paintscheme***) if anyone wants try.
regards

I've heard about hash classes to work to 4.08 and 4.09, but i have no idea of how to work with this...

So whats on? Do someone make the marks show on?
- ILV_Aquila_Noctis - 03.10.2008
Mon ami Gaston, are there any news?
Oh, and I took the ALTproperties file and updated it, as there were some new nations missing their alternate names. Send me a PM and I'll mail them to you
EDIT: Can someone please transcribe "Императорскiй военно-воздушный флотъ" (Imperial Russian Air Force) into Latin letters?
