I have to say I'm hugely impressed with the standard of artwork I find on this site. I 've done repaints and stuff for MSTS in the past, but this aircraft painting lark is much more subtle and difficult. I take my hat off to you.

hey, Darren, this is absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for your work!
Btw, did you ever think of making any tutorials on screenies creation?
I'm quite new to this art and would love to learn to make something like this in the future...
Best wishes from Mangas.

Hi Anton,
Hopre you and the Mrs are well mate
Cheers for your comments
About the tuts, Im not so good with those mate to be honest, its hard to get something I may do and understand as a matter of course into a simplified format which can be easily followed, Ive made attempts but they seem to get bogged down with explanations and dont look particularly easy to follow
On saying that I did one for RAF Leigh, which is stickied in this forum, A smoke/fire tut C/W a PSD for reference. Note, the steps described in it are also very similair in their beginnings to those I use to create contrails, fog, clouds etc etc.

That smoke tut is great, Darren. Very clear, concise and easy to follow. I think the secret is in using screenies of the PS interface to show things rather than explaining them in words. That's what you did with the smoke tut and it worked very well. 8)
