Cool stuff James, thanks for posting these.
Nifty stuff Cujo! I might be posting a few more if I can get my friend to do just a bit more...

Double_Ugly Wrote:Yeah these are great! What is the process to use these if you installed MODS w/o the AAA Unified Installer?
To change the opening Splash Screen, see here:
http://allaircraftsimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1019&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=splash+screens&start=0
For the various Campaign/Mission menu backgrounds, follow the same procedures from my earlier post, above in this thread.

Thanks m8! I followed the instructions and the instructions from the link too; BUT in the Files folder then Gui folder then Game folder I only have a Buttons file? By all accounts of what I read those files should be in there ... so not sure what my issue is exactly.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to why I do not see the background0_ru.mat or the background.tga files? I do have these two files in the Mission folder along with the Campaign, Net and Single folder - is this right?
Also I'm not sure where to find the filelist.txt file?

Simply breathtaking! Thanks a million! Any chance to download the originals without the logos and stuff?

Not really. Remember, James Dietz creates these paintings as a profession. I believe that high resolution versions could possibly end up in the wrong hands and be used commercially, which certainly would not be fair. I think it was very gracious of Mr. Dietz to offer the community his artwork for use as SplashScreens/MenuScreens.
Enjoy!
