+1 ... fully agree

IMHO, many different apps for same thing brings only confusion to average users ... but at the end , it is really on users to decide

sono d'accordo con te fly_zo;
le persone mi chiedono questo fix e ho pensato che fosse giusto aggiornare i posts che ho lasciato quando RFC

Where and for what reason might we use this? I use JSME (GME) for Silent Hunter IV but why here?

I'll give your App a try, and will post feedback later.
I'm sure I'll also have further questions to you, but first I'll try on my own...

Learning by doing, you know what I mean

Please give me some time, mate.

Hi Renmik u're welcome !
no need for rush mate Wink

everyone does what he can, when he can, how he know Wink

so I wanna be the firts forwarding thanks for your test. ( I know what you meant )

pilots noticed me there's not only UI MOD distr. method: there're different international tournaments based onto 3rd party mod-packs, packs many people is testing for long time over different pc configurations ... across different countries... mod contained in packages: they really doin an hard work ( RFC compared is silly thing )

...seems UI has low compatibility with those packs (or contained mods), that's why people attending some CRT=2 championships is still asking me for this tool.

feel free to take all the time you may need, if i got news i'll update here AWA RFC storyboard site.

thanks for your attention,

d.

Please, Have a nice day yourself,
Decon

 i apologize too tryin to explain why I've exploded that way:
what / how / why it does is written inside the included manual Wink

maybe is not well explained so i try to explain again:
RFC let you have multiple copy of the sim on your hard drive allowing you to switch between them;
is an expensive solution in terms of occupied HD space but healther than JME

you asked why use GME to un/mount mods... right question Wink
simply is written onto ubisoft FB forums with addicted tutorial: i think tfe're still lot of people who's still using GME with this purpose ( im now using RFC, better ask 'em why they still use GME Wink )

you're wellcome.

catch ya,
d.

correct me if i am wrong
currently using mod activator . can i down load spitfire mk1/ me410 etc directly into this gme program and just transfer accross as i need them with out any problems
the ui in a big download on dialup version 1 has just been replaced by version 1.1 with other versions to come in future . but i may want only 2 aircraft and maybe a map from next version but i have to download the full future version to get them . you say i wont have to do this with this mod correct

hi Specter,
this is not a mod: this is a Folder Changer ( Radar's one )

try to describe a common use scenario

people who need to un/load huge mod package sometimes prefer to keep one installation of the sim for each big-package they're flying at the moment, RFC is a little utility for easy modswitching between theese multiple installations. that's all.

IMHO RFC isnt the tool you're looking for if you need to un/mod only two craft , it might be useful when u need to often un/load at least three 700Mb size mod-package

the process works the following way for each big-package u want to insert in your "collection", u'll:
- make a copy of the game folder
- rename the copied folder as the game folder added of a significative suffix
- unpack the big one onto the renamed folder

as said its a choice: RFC one is expensive in terms of occupied space

actually my il2 folder is around 30Gb with 5 big-packages i can switch onto (included clean 4.08m), even if I still got a lot of free space I think my favourite flight-sim can have all the space it deserves ...

your feedbacks are useful, hope my explanations can be too

S~
