There were more than 5200 built- flew 110,000 sorties, dropped 150,000 tons of bombs.
Now by my reckoning that is about 5200 more than the number of DO 335s produced for example.

it was also known as the "Flying Prostitute" because of its little stubby wings it appeared "to have no visible means of support".
But it fills a gap in the medium bomber line for the Allies, not that the B25 is a slouch, and the A20 is just fun to fly.
