Hi Flak- this looks very interesting indeed 8)

Was just reading that this particular air plane was responsible for most ground targets (60%) being destroyed in the Korean Conflict.

The later smoother casing was designed for supersonic aircraft to carry the weapon.. the earlier more clunky version in the first link would have been more likely to have been the type the F84G carried since few supersonic AC were in the inventory when the F84 was a frontline aircraft.
