Yes, maybe the B52 A, that was the less complicated plane, it had not as much electronics and avionics on board as the later versions....

4./JG53_Howlin Wrote:~sigh~..~sadly shakes head in despair~ you people who do nothing but request the almost impossible, ok so we make a B-52 what the hell is going to be able to fly that high at that speed in game to shoot it down, then we have to creat fighters to shoot the damn thing down which we cant do because the game engine cannot handle complex avionics, for all those out there who keep bringing up stupid ideas to add to this sim, i have a small piece of advice for you, learn how to mod, then the realisation of what you ask sinks in. It would result in a comunity with far greater understanding.
Then make the Will Wright brother's plane. Our fighters will surely get it

Well, aren't you funny...

If you want Vietnam era planes, why you don't buy Wings over Vietnam or Strike fighters project 2: Vietnam (or any of this series)? They are specific Vietnam era sims and are very moddable: terrains, cockpits, FM's...
In fact I have some specifical installs with Spanish Civil War, Korea, Middle East Wars, Vietnam, Iran-Iraq.......
I like IL-2 more, but it can't handle radar, ECM, SAMS, heat seakers or radar missiles, flares (as counter measures), supersonic speed etc. Oh, and the sky at great height looks as if you are in outer space (limitations of engine, IL-2 was designed to low heights combat)

I want the early versions with fly by wire (literally) technology. As for the sound barrier I heard from somewhere that the fully completed MiG-15 which will come with an ability to crack Mach 1.
IL2 at 50,000 ft doesn't look bad either

B-50 Superfortress- A B-29 airframe with Pratt & Whittney R-4630 Wasp Major engines rated at 3,500hp each.

Guys, a Mig 15, a Sabre or an F 22 will fly exactlly the same in Il-2. There is no modeling of the sound barrier, or friction for that matter, or stratosfere in Il-2. So you are going to get a deficient model, Not a higlly refined FM as the WWII planes have.
So why not use TK

I think it's rather funny that the F-100A would be way too complex for IL2, but the B-52A not so much. That just makes me laugh.
