OK, I've corrected the conf.ini, set LandGeom to 3 and installed a new set of DLLs. I even did the copy-rename trick.

The shores look perfect now, however some of the shimmering is still noticeable. Especially on stock markings, hi-res cockpit repaints, and on any straight line on the aircraft. All this is present only when I use large FOV. What can it be? I run my game at the native resolution of my monitor...

Thanks for all your help!

i'm slowly running out of ideas here, mate......it sounds like you should fiddle with your AA/AF settings, can't really think of anything else at the mo... :?
if it helps, i have a slight 'shimmering' similar to what you mention, but its negligible, and i can live with it...

You could try downloading the latest Nvidia driver. Just recently came up with the same problem with antialiasing, didn't matter what I changed Nvidia settings to either in the Nvidia control panel or Nhancer. Downloaded latest driver and all fixed. Maybe the driver got corrupted somehow :???:
