I can't believe this is a Frankenplane. I thought it was the original model made for Il-2 Maddox, but due to legal issues the project was aborted... Correct me if i'm wrong... :-?

Yes that's a new model, the Frankenplane thread was locked and removed a while ago. There have been several projects in the past year for the P-61, and while some of them had really neat looking external models, those that created them still needed the damage models, meshes, etc. After getting things organized they moved development away from AAA because they've got quite a few projects to work on.
