Hey, just got my IL2 1946 set up with UI 1.1
For the life of me, I couldn't get the water quality to increase. Then... I ran across your thread here. I have the same graphics card, arranged my config file like you recommended and... voila! Water is fantastic
Thanks very much !!!!

(LandGeom = 3) breaks all the reefs on the NGNB map i'm making. (landGeom =2) fixes it.
i did a quick poll of all the guys i fly and test with and they all have theirs set to LandGeom = 2 , which is why the texture error never showed up in our tests. i just noticed the texture error when i tried the above settings.
i recommend LandGeom = 2

One Question: I Have a GF 9800GT Video Card and the "ForceShaders1x=0- Option kills my framerate completely. Since my System is a Phenom X4 II 920 with 4 Gigs of RAM, I assumed it can handle max details in IL2, is there any known VC setting that couses heavy loss of fps with water?
