I cut the canopy off because I didnt like the way it was turning out

Looking good, General- are you building this from a kit, or just from plans? Anyway, like the exhaust stacks and nose, and Im glad you cut the canopy off. Can you get a perspex one?
Cheers,
Thunda

Hey thunda
No this is strictly scratch built from my own plans as sclae as i could get them.
This is a prototype to how well it will fly before i go all out on it, hope fully by then i can get the
information from the smithsonian, they have the the original blueprints for the P-40Q and its about $35.

as far as the canopy goes i may end up molding my own or the P-47 canopy is really close so i might try that route

P-40Q? Sounds badass, but I didn't know there were that many variants! Bubble canopy?? Tell me more!!
- genral01 - 06.05.2010
there was only one made in 2 variants and it was known as the "Winterhawk"
