Deathsight Wrote:So, I'm now trying to play the game on Windows 7, but I just can't get it to play, it's the first time I try this on a Windows 7, until now I was using an old Windows XP in a dual boots way yet with the XP I couldn't play online, can anyone help me out with this problem ?? Sad

Please pretty please with sugar on top :Smile)

If you mean "I can't get run + load and install on my comp. with Windows 7", try, after all compatibilty adjustments suggested above, to click on "a" file on the DVD.
Windows 7 is actually very friendly to older games. I have old pc games running straight in there that would not run on XP.
IL2 1946 DVD version is troublesome; seems put together fast. Had loading probs even with XP, in spite that I have two different original copies.

But if you have it installed and it is not working? I can say: I've installed it outside the program files by eliminating /program files and /Ubisoft in the path of the install.
The intent was only to make it work easier and faster, so I haven't tried a proper install in program files at all.

Try that; also examine DVD for dirt or scrachts resulting in a falty install.
